Modern farmhouse combines the warm, comfortable, cozy country living vibe of farmhouse style with the clean sleek lines and neutral color palette of modern décor. You will see a lot of white and cream mixed with salvaged materials and rustic elements. It also has a lighter feel than traditional farmhouse décor, which makes it very appealing.

Large wall clocks are way more affordable than people think. They are easy to find and can be either metal or wood, painted or not. They are also functional, so you get an extra bonus.

I’m biased, but I love a good gallery art wall. You can create so many different looks and you can change them up easily. You can stay with all artwork, or you can mix in vintage looking signs for added effect.

Mirrors don’t actually have to be antique. You can get the look for less almost anywhere online. Rubbed bronze metal, faded gold, or painted wood are your best options for modern farmhouse décor. You didn’t think you could get away with anything farmhouse without shiplap, did you? Covering and entire wall can get pricey, and can take a lot more time that I personally would be willing to give up. Instead, consider peel and stick removeable shiplap wallpaper. You get the look without the cost or having to add wood to your wall. Shiplap wallpaper is also really convenient to use on the back of bookshelves, cabinets or on furniture.
If you did want the real deal, you could also put several real wood boards together and add a reclaimed wood frame around them to make your own DIY modern farmhouse artwork. Or, just do one accent wall so you get the feel, but don’t become overwhelmed.
